Getting Radio Airplay for an established artist in another country?

  • I live in SA, there is great UK artist who I would love to get played on the radio here in South Africa, where he is as yet unheard of. I am absolutely positive it would be well received. How do I go about it? Maybe I should mention that the musician in question is a recorded artist already and I am just your average joe fan who wants to hear him on my local radio station.

    Any advice?


  • I know here in US we can call the Radio station and ask them to play the tune if they get enough requests they will play it.

  • Email the radio station with the artists details. If they think that it will be well recieved and suits the station they will probably play it.
