How do you save a video in sony vegas 8.0 pro?

  • Really i don't know cause i made a video now were do i save it to the computer so i can put it in youtube? Tell me the steps please!


  • There should be an option under file for Export Movie, Render Movie, or something like that. You will know you have the correct option if it takes a few minutes to save the movie.

    Before the movie is rendered to your hard drive, you will need to choose a location for saving the file and a format in which to save the movie. Choose a format that works for you and is also accepted on YouTube (and YouTube accepts most common formats). You may need to test different formats to see which ones work best with YouTube.


  • At the top of the screen should be a button that says Make Movie. Click that and it gives you options like burning to disk, saving to hard drive, transfer to PSP, etc...

    At least it does in Sony Vegas 8 Movie Studio.
