How to connect & install fire wire perfectly to mt Pc?

  • Actually I fixed Fire wire card in PCI slot and installed IEEE 1394 driver but my PC could not recognise my camcoder ( Dcrh42E Sony Handicam)
    Some time while trying the following massages are comming-
    1.Camcoder not recognised
    2.Another USB connection is in action
    3.The screen has not sufficient memory etc


    What may be the solution for Dv Video capturing from my camcoder?


  • Why are you trying to use USB? All you need is Firewire (also known as IEEE 1394, i.Link, and DV port).
