This is a must-win game. But could United be ambushed by Fulham? Fulham held United to a 1-1 draw in the 1st leg. And with all the excitement of the CL draw, and the upcoming games against Liverpool, Newcastle, & Arse, I hope the boys don't overlook this game in anticipation of facing the big ones.
Fergie should stick to this style in the Premiership and reserve his containing, patient, long ball counter-attacking play (and Veron) for Europe.
According to Ferguson, Veron is still 3-4 weeks away from full fitness.
(BTW machoward, I agree with all of your comments, as usual)
What a match by RVN. Didn't Becks look pissed though that RVN didn't pass him the ball in the box? lol - RVN wanted that friggin hat trick. There were several times after he scored the 2nd goal when he could have passed the ball but tried to go for glory instead.
Ruud to Becks: "Your job is to pass the ball and mine is to score. Got it?" :D

Worked, didn't it?
:)
Come on Everton...
He looked really pissed, and, if you notice, didn't do his normal celebration with the goal scorer on Ruud's third. Then again, Becks was only open by 10 yards -- and I bet would have played it back to Ruud for a tap in.
