headache, abnormal sleepiness, dizziness, confusion, lack of feeling or emotion, anxiety, blurred vision, vomiting, and the inability to remember events prior to the injury
you may have a concussion. Usually concussions do not occur unless you are knocked unconscious, even for a few seconds, by the blow, however even minor injuries can sometimes cause minor concussions. These usually go away in a few hours or a day, however more serious ones can last for weeks.
If you experience increasing confusion, increasing sleepiness or a worsening of the headache over the course of a few days, see your doctor immediately as these are signs of a serious condition related to the injury.
In the meantime, take some Tylenol, put some ice where you got hit in the head and get lots of rest.
